Why La Maison?
Our La Maison Restaurant officially opens its doors on 5 july 2019, after many years of dreams, projects and research.
Why did we choose this name? Because La Maison is “Home”, that comfortable environment in which to relax and of course eat tasty dishes!
We are a family-run business, the owners are Nastasja and her brother Francesco: we are a real family and we can’t wait to welcome you to our “Maison”!

In the La Maison restaurant the environment is simple and welcoming: it is important for us to make those who decide to visit us to feel good, a bit like feeling at home, in the company of your family or friends, to share fresh and tasty dishes, carefully prepared by our chef and our pizza maker.
And during the summer time, the space doubles! In fact, in addition to the internal room where we can accomodate about 35 people, we also have a covered external loggia where you can enjoy dinner or one of our cocktails, with a beautiful view on the historic Piazza dei Leoni in the heart of Empoli.

Nastasja is our chef and she is the true beating heart of La Maison!
The restaurant was born from her great passion for cooking: she grew up in Basilicata within the walls of the family Hotel Restaurant with her mother and uncles, who were guided by her greatest mentor “Nonna” (the grandmother). She took her first steps in the kitchen alongside her grandmother between fresh pasta and homemade preserves.
The Maison reflects not only great passion for genuine cuisine, but also an original idea of catering. It is Nastasja who personally takes care of the choice and selection of raw materials, who coordinates the staff in the kitchen and creates our menus.

We are specialized in fish cuisine: for our dishes we only choose fresh, high quality ingredients. We select fresh fish from our trusted suppliers every day, in order to bring at the table only the best of the daily catch.
Our pizzas are always light and tasty, thanks to fresh ingredients, refined combinations and the great care we put into our doughs, for which we use our mother yeast and which we leave to rise for more than 48 hours.
